Internationally educated nurses are required to graduate from an accredited nursing education program in their respective countries.
You will need to submit your official transcripts directly to the state nursing board(s) or through CGFNS International.
After verifying the authenticity of your documents and confirming that your education is equivalent to U.S. nursing standards, you will receive authorization to take your licensure examination.

Demonstrate English Proficiency
Non-U.S.-educated nurses must demonstrate their English proficiency, as mandated by federal and state laws.
You can prove your English language proficiency by taking IELTS or TOEFL exams.
While there are other English proficiency exams, such as PTE and OET, Xumerus recommends TOEFL or IELTS, both of which are accepted in all 20 states where we recruit.
